Our Vision

Qalakaar — A Vision For Independent Musicians of India


The story of Qalakaar doesn't start from solving a problem but falling in love, love of music, culture and people

This vision is not only going to ask tough questions but have valid solutions to them

My elder brother and I, a musician and a problem solver, two souls in one, have set ourselves on a mission to change the independent music scene of India by making it organised .

So that every artist and young aspirant out there isn't afraid to just choose it as a career path but also have a segue to their dreams.

Qalakaar's vision is to unite the largest community of independent  musicians of India to achieve this.

We are currently using our love of culture and art to connect people to Qalakaar and make it a self sustaining entity financially, legally and spiritually.






Problems that Independent Musicians of India (Qalakaars) currently face are as such :

1. No constant income source

2. Disrespect and inequality in work

3. No entity to connect to, for aspirational artists and which are financially self sustaining 

4. Unable to focus on Music and have to understand and practice business in order to make a living and hence letting multiple external factors dictating their choice of art/work.

5. Very less communities that focus on mutual growth and respect of artists.

We are set out to solve these problems and the upcoming ones that are not in our vision radar yet.

I am writing this so that every person who understands how valuable art and culture is for a society can envision our thoughts and goals and align to the same.

This is not just our dream but a collective dream of all the independent musicians and supporters of art and culture who understand what we are all about and live this dream together.
